A New Category for the suckers

September 25, 2008

I know, I already have too many of them, and I promise I’ll consider paring them down. And, no, this isn’t going to become JFlo’s cutesy papa blog… I’m still chock full of zombie awesomeness.

But, I wanted to make sure that people who want to see pictures of the little baby, will have a place to look for them – and, also, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to entice my family to visit my site every once in a while.

So, if you’d like to keep track of baby pictures (and I hope to post one a day) you can check out the “Pictures” category in the navigation bar.

Not much has been happening outside of the whole not-getting-sleep thing, and of course the core reason for the not-getting-sleep thing: the baby-thing.

Actually I take that back, I spent the last 2 months unemployed and hopping from contract job to contract job and loving every second of it, and now I’m gainfully employed again – More on that later.

In the meantime feast your eyes on my beautiful baby – I realize she’s probably ugly as sin, and I’m letting the parent-blinders thing trick me, but you’ll just have to put up with it.

    First thing first,

Gratzi on your new addition. Matilda is beautiful and you're a lucky guy. From one father to another; you can never have too many pictures. I've got well over 500 saved myself. And that's after I "cleaned up" the thousands I had.

Now you get to play "Zombie Dad"! As a father of twin 18 month old boys I have found this past time to be irreplaceable. All you do is make some moaning sounds as you pick them up and then start to gnaw on their arms, legs and then go for their bellies. Before this you must give them warning in the form of saying, "Here comes Zombie Dad!” in an eerie voice. This way we, as responsible fathers, we condition our children on self defense techniques against Zombie attacks. Yeah… I know I need therapy.

    A few words of advice:
    Sleep when you can.
Let Dana get sleep before you get yours.
Check out http://www.dadcentric.com/ It is one of my daily staples (along with
this site of course). Lots of Fatherly wisdom to be found there.

I wish you both the best of luck. Your life has been changed forever and it’s for the better. Welcome to the world of Fatherhood!

I am highly appreciative of your advice to Justin that he should "Let Dana get sleep before you get yours."

Now... how can this be enforced??

Just live by three simple words...

    "Keep Momma happy"

I don't see a "Pictures" option on the Nav bar...
  • Great point - It's been moved. The new location is
http://flowersjustin.tumblr.com - i'll put the nav back up.

    thanks Suzi
